At the reception, we serve mulled wine, punch or, on request, mulled gin - outside by the fire bowls or inside in the warm light of the fireplace. The wedding ceremony takes place in the atmospherically decorated workshop - with candlelight, deep red flowers and a cozy ambience.
The festively decorated cowshed is ready for the celebration: with a Christmas tree, winter decorations and a menu that perfectly matches the season. Roasted almonds, chestnuts, a sweet dessert from our in-house confectionery - and a wedding cake that is both tastefully and visually coordinated with winter. A winter wedding requires a slightly different kind of planning - and we will be happy to support you with our experience. We have put together some helpful tips for you to ensure that your day is exactly how you want it to be:
✓ Use light: As it gets dark early in winter, we recommend photos before 4 pm and a wedding ceremony in the early afternoon or a night ceremony with candlelight, open fire and sparklers.
✓ Bring additional clothing: A second outfit or warm accessories can be useful - especially if you are staying in one of our vacation homes with your guests or planning photos in the snowy landscape.
✓ Floristry & Decoration: Winter flowers, candles, fairy lights, fire bowls and torches create a warm, atmospheric ambience, which we are happy to provide for you.
✓ Culinary delights of the season: Hot drinks such as mulled wine, punch or mulled gin as well as a seasonal menu with winter flavors ensure enjoyment and coziness - we are happy to provide this for you.
✓ Arrival with buffer: In winter, you should allow a little more time for your arrival - so that everyone starts the day relaxed. If you arrive the day before and stay overnight in Schwalbennest or KitzLein, you can even enjoy the sauna and hot tub.
