Our HofGut is a wonderful place for meetings and workshops that are naturally sustainable with us: real “Green Meetings”, in other words. Whether you want to host a meeting with 90 people or plan a workshop with your 10-person team: we have the right place for you. The gardens belonging to the houses invite you to stretch your legs, and if the weather cooperates, your entire event can even take place in the garden.

Seminar rooms in the countryside
Our three rustic-historic seminar rooms are modernly equipped and each offers separate access to the garden. All gardens are fitted with sun and rain protection, and seating can also be arranged – ideal for group work, breakouts or taking a relaxed breath between sessions.
Cowshed
The former cowshed is a spacious room with a modern country character, ideal for larger events and meetings for up to 90 guests. An adjoining side room offers added flexibility for workshops, group work or catering. In summer, you can enjoy the large garden with pavilion, deckchairs and outdoor bar – free-ranging chickens and ducks complete the nature experience.
Workshop
Our 350-year-old workshop offers an extraordinary setting: dark reclaimed wood, light clay plaster, high ceilings and mullioned windows with daylight and views of the greenery create an inspiring meeting atmosphere. On cold days, the open fireplace provides warm, cosy moments. The covered inner courtyard with fruit trees, herb beds and vegetables, plus sheltered spots, invites creative thinking breaks and offers space for smaller group activities.
Barn
The barn impresses with rustic charm and an authentic atmosphere – perfect for meetings that need a personal and relaxed setting. Directly connected is an herb garden with over 50 varieties, which can be used for nature-filled breaks and restful moments between programme items.
Catering & supporting programmes
We’ll be happy to treat you and your guests to catering from our organic kitchen at the Demeter HofGut – whether it’s wood-fired oven bread, brain food or creative cocktails for an after-work event. By arrangement, we’re also happy to organise a suitable supporting programme for you at our HofGut.

Staying overnight at Scheunenwirtin
Seminar participants are welcome to stay overnight with us at the HofGut. Sleeping comfort is extremely important to us, so you wake up fresh and well-rested for the new day. Our overnight accommodation is in various farm buildings that are organised like residential houses. All rooms are stylish, cosy and comfortably furnished.
There is a shared kitchen with a spacious living and dining area, and the bathrooms are also shared. In return, you have the opportunity to unwind with your team in peace and comfort in the evening and round off the day together.
For single occupancy of the double rooms, 27 rooms are available. In under a 5-minute walk, we can arrange up to 50 additional rooms with a colleague.
Getting here & parking
Here’s how to reach our HofGut in the Swabian Jura, in the spa and resort town of Bartholomä:
- By car: around half an hour by car from Schwäbisch Gmünd – Stuttgart, Ulm or Augsburg are about an hour’s drive away. Free parking is available right outside our door.
- Nearest train station: Mögglingen (distance approx. 9 km)
- Nearest bus stop: Hülbe (distance approx. 100 m)
- On-site shuttle service: on request
